Now we have gotten that confession out of the way, let me tell you a little bit about myself and why I put this site together.
I wish I could tell you I’m a hairdresser or barber, but I’m not, I’m actually a chemical engineer!
One of the reasons I love my stubble so much is its a way for me to express myself, working in the field i do, you cant exactly turn up with a Mohawk (not that I have the hair for it anyway) but stubble’s are now an accepted look for professional environments.
Perhaps the other reason is I am bald as a cue ball, no fancy hair styles for me, so the only way I can change my look is to work the stubble. Its the one thing I can do (aside from getting in shape) to up my sex appeal, that’s right many lady’s love the stubble! it gives us guys a boost in the masculinity stakes and trust me anything I can do to improve on my looks I will take gleefully.
When i first decided to rock the Jason Stratham look, I found it wasn’t as easy as I thought. I thought simply shaving in the evenings would do the trick, but this gave less than satisfactory results and maintaining a groomed stubble look was impossible.
Next I battled on with a cheap “beard trimmer” this was awful, I simply couldn’t get a close enough trim, I looked like I was always in a constant state o an “almost” beard, it was just too long and dense.
Finally i discovered there are purpose made stubble trimmers! oh the Joy, I felt when I first unpack-aged an i-stubble, finally I had a solution to keep my stubble looking perfect. Alas my I-stubble didn’t last me 7 months, so I bought another, this one lasted 12. I then decided to shell out a few more dollars of a Philips Norelco and haven’t looked back.
This then brings me to the purpose of this little website, I wanted to help other want to be stubble champions, find their way to enlightenment, without going through all the trial and error I had to endure.
So here it is! I hope you enjoy the site, we aim to bring you a lot of information to help you develop and maintain the stubble of your dreams! as well as reviews and guides to the best stubble trimmers on the market. We trust it will be a great resource for you (by “we” I me and my stubble loving wife Mel, she is the brains behind the guy with whiskers).
Anyway enough of this rambling, we would love to hear from you and your stubble journey, let us know by filling in the comments box below or sending us an email.
